Pre-Post Award
Guidelines
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) ranked the University of Pittsburgh's
School of Nursing at number five in research support and we plan to
rise to the top. Our goal at the Center for Research and Evaluation
(CRE) is to support your pursuit to acquire external and internal
funding by providing excellent service. The CRE guides proposals during
the full life cycle of the grant from pre-award to post-award and
closeout. This manual provides guidelines and procedures to aid the
principal investigator through areas such as, timely organization
for submission, budget preparation, scientific review, and other necessary
steps during the proposal management process. With the NIH moving to
electronic submissions, a helpful hints guide for Grants.gov is also
below. We are pleased to help
you fulfill your research goals, and by following the steps in this
manual we can function together as a dynamic team.
The School also collaborates with various schools and centers at
the University as well as other University's throughout the country.
